John F. is connected to the family of Morris Pipes via strong circumstantial evidence. In the 1830 Census, Morris Pipes has one son less than 5 years old. This son was previously not identified. All of Morris' other known sons were born after 1840.
John F. Pipes married Isabella Nash in Marion Co. in Oct. of 1853 and his birth is given as 1828 in Marion Co. There are no other possibilities for his father to be other than Morris Pipes. William already had a son (1824) named John and Nathaniel had a daughter in that year.
In 1850, he (John F.) is living in Bourbon Co., working on a farm, age 21, listed as John T. Piper in the census index.
In 1860, John F. and Isabella are living in Dallas, Texas with 3 children. In 1870 Isabella is remarried to J. N. Jones in Dallas and her three children are with her. It is not known at this point if John F. died or left the marriage under other circunstances. I suspect he died in the Civil War, but have no records of that event.
