ELLSBERRY PUBLICATIONS

Mrs. Elizabeth Prather Ellsberry is a long time researcher, School Teacher, and Professional Genealogist. Many of us first learned of the Pipes Family History from her books. When I learned recently that she still had many books and records available, I asked her if she would like to have me put her catalog on my web site. She agreed and so here it is.

I spoke with Mrs. Ellsberry in August of 2010. Our last conversation had been in 2006, I think. She said at that time that she was no longer making or selling copies of her books and had retired in 1996.  See the books list on this site for the titles to her published books.

When I spoke with her in 2010 she told me that she is 87 years old now and her memory is not as good as it used to be but she said that she really enjoyed all the years of research and of meeting new people. I thanked her for all the work she had done and told her how much I benefited from all of it. The electronic rights to all of her works are now owned by Ancestry.com and if you really want to see any of the books listed below and cannot find a copy to buy, then a subscription to Ancestry.com will let you see the information. I was surprised when she told me that she had over 1 million names published in all of her works, Quite an achievement!

I am sure she would enjoy a card or a phone call saying thank you.

Here is her contact info:
